Description

This is my proposal for an alternate and new flag of Ontario. I feel that since Canada is no longer a British Colony and that the National Flag has removed the Union Jack that the Province Flag should also remove the Union Jack as well. Especially if Scotland votes for independence on Thursday (9/18/2014).

Very creative use of the Maple Leaf symbol. Canada is still part of the British Commonwealth, as is Australia, hence why they still retain the Union jack on some of their territorial and provincial flags.
