Description

This was a challenge I accepted from :icon nanbanscribe43:. This was not an easy task as it took over 45 minutes just to get a design. The stars and stripes represent the three nations to have claims of Illinois (French, British and the United States). 1848 was the year of statehood of Illinois. I evenually plan on remaking the flags of all 50 states. Like my other flags, this flag may not be copied or used without my permission.

EDIT: I took out the stars because it made the flag look awkward.

Very nice. ^_^ This is a definite improvement of the official flag. I love how you used the fleur-de-lis to symbolize our French origins. :clap:
